MICHAEL’S POEM

Michael_Shattuck The brilliant luminating presence of the
moon’s silhouette dancing upon the withered
back of a deer staggering throughout the
ever so often ominous landscape…
so called earth.

The words of one who speaks in tune to another’s ear
will receive the same amount of understanding from that same soul.

The unspoken beauty of silence in which we spend rigorously longing for the past to become the present and the present to become the past.

The soul exists in a place where time doesn’t
in which the body is not accustomed to.

I look around at the people I see and it is as though it were human nature
to put on a masking personality and wear it as if it were their own.

As the things we see live and die exist in only
that frame of mind in which we choose to live.

God needs not to be put on a pedestal for he does not place
himself above his own creations
but should be loved as if he were yourself or
any other form put here by the grace of his hand.

People see the stars from one point of view which is up
but the stars see the people from every point of view.
